WorkLedger privacy policy

Your work ledger stays on your iPhone.

This policy explains how WorkLedger stores shifts, receipt images, recognized text, pay estimates, exports, and support information.

01 / Local data

No WorkLedger account or backend.

Jobs, shifts, pay settings, pay estimates, receipts, notes, and receipt images are stored in the app's local storage on the iPhone. WorkLedger does not require an account and does not use an Ai2Life backend to store this ledger.

The app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. Core tracking, reports, receipt recognition, and export features are designed to work offline.

02 / Camera and photos

Receipt images are used only when you choose them.

The camera is used when you choose to scan a receipt. The photo library is accessed only for an image you select. Apple's on-device text recognition reads receipt text on the iPhone; WorkLedger does not send the photo or recognized text to a server.

Receipt images are kept with the local ledger so you can review the original. You can also enter a receipt manually without using the camera or photo library.

03 / Exports

You decide when information leaves the app.

Excel workbooks, CSV files, and ledger backups are created only when you request them. The iOS share sheet lets you choose where an export goes. Once shared to another app, service, person, or storage provider, that destination's privacy practices apply.

05 / Deletion

You can remove local WorkLedger data.

WorkLedger includes an erase option that removes jobs, shifts, receipts, saved receipt images, and settings from the iPhone. Deleting the app also removes its local container. Files already exported to other locations must be deleted from those destinations separately.

06 / Support

Email a general description of the issue. Do not send pay stubs, receipt images, financial account numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or other sensitive information unless a secure process has first been agreed upon.
